While he dominates on the cricket field, Shubman Gill is proving to be a champion off it too! The Gujarat Titans skipper has donated INR 35 lakh worth of life-saving medical equipment to Civil Hospital, Mohali, under his CSR initiative.
Gill’s generous contribution includes ventilators, ICU beds, OT tables, X-ray machines, bedside monitors, and OT lights—essential medical gear that will benefit countless patients in need. His noble act is a testament to his deep-rooted connection with Mohali, the city where his cricketing journey began.
The young batting sensation has often expressed his love for Mohali, and this donation further strengthens his bond with the place. Notably, his aunt, Dr. Kushaldeep Kaur, who serves as the District Immunisation Officer in Patiala, was present during the handover, making the moment even more special.
Dr. Sangeeta Jain, Civil Surgeon of Mohali, acknowledged the donation, stating that the equipment will be distributed where it is most needed, even to other hospitals if required. Unlike grand ceremonies or publicity stunts, Gill made this contribution quietly and sincerely—letting his actions speak louder than words.
Gill’s Focus Shifts Back to IPL 2025
After making an impact off the field, Gill is back to leading Gujarat Titans (GT) on the field. GT recently secured their first win of the season, defeating Mumbai Indians by 36 runs. With one win and one loss so far, Gill’s side will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 2, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Can Gill’s leadership guide GT to another victory? As he continues to shine both on and off the pitch, one thing is certain—he is a true role model for the next generation.
