India is set for an action-packed home season in 2025, with the West Indies and South Africa touring the country for Test and multi-format series, respectively. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finalized the schedule, with the Caribbean side visiting for two Test matches in October, followed by a high-profile clash against the Proteas across Tests, ODIs, and T20Is in November-December.

India vs West Indies – Test Series in October
The West Indies will return to Indian shores for a two-match Test series, their first red-ball tour of the country since 2018.
Test Series Schedule:
📍 1st Test – Mohali 🏟️ (October 2)
📍 2nd Test – Kolkata (Eden Gardens) 🏟️ (October 10)
The last time India and West Indies faced off in a Test series was in the Caribbean in 2023, where India dominated with a 1-0 series win. However, the West Indies last played an ODI and T20I series in India in 2022.
India vs South Africa – Multi-Format Series in November-December
Shortly after the West Indies series, India will host South Africa for an all-format tour, featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.

📍 2nd Test – Guwahati 🏟️ (First-ever Test in Guwahati!)
Guwahati, a regular host for limited-overs matches and IPL games, will be making its Test cricket debut in this series.

📍 2nd ODI – Raipur 🏟️ (December 3)
📍 3rd ODI – Visakhapatnam 🏟️ (December 6)

📍 5th T20I – December 19
The series will serve as crucial preparation for both sides ahead of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
