“The most important thing for me in a holiday home is the feeling you get when you enter the place. It has to make you feel absolutely relaxed, centered, peaceful—just feeling at home away from your regular home,” Virat Kohli shared.
Designed by World-Renowned Architects
As per Architectural Digest, the lavish home has been designed by the internationally acclaimed Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Phillippe Fouche. The house follows a Californian Konkan-style and has been built to allow maximum natural light to enhance its aesthetic appeal.
Kohli’s Love for Family Bonding
Kohli, who has spent most of his career traveling, emphasized the importance of family meals and how he cherishes having meals together.
“I really value and cherish having meals together as a family because, to be very honest, I did not do enough of that as a kid myself,” said Kohli.
“What I couldn’t do enough of, we make sure, we don’t miss out on that and make sure it’s a practice in our household,” he added.

Kohli also revealed that he manages his home using an ‘Avas’ app, which provides him with all the necessary information about the house. However, despite the technological advancements, his favorite spot remains the outdoor seating area, where he enjoys his coffee and quiet moments away from his hectic schedule.
“Here is where I like to sit down, have a cup of coffee, sit down and relax. In my case, I’m always on a fixed diet on a holiday as well,” Kohli added.
