Rashid Joins Elite List, Becomes Third-Fastest to 150 IPL Wickets
The milestone moment came in the seventh over of PBKS’ innings when Rashid dismissed Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya. The delivery induced a false shot, and Sai Sudharsan completed the catch, sealing Rashid’s 150th IPL wicket.
Rashid achieved the feat in just 122 matches, making him the third-fastest bowler in IPL history to do so. Only Lasith Malinga (105 matches) and Yuzvendra Chahal (118 matches) reached the milestone quicker than him.
Fastest to 150 IPL Wickets:
- Lasith Malinga – 105 matches
- Yuzvendra Chahal – 118 matches
- Rashid Khan – 122 matches
- Jasprit Bumrah – 124 matches
- Dwayne Bravo – 137 matches
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar – 138 matches
Rashid Khan’s ability to bamboozle batters with his deceptive variations has made him one of the most consistent wicket-takers in IPL history.
