The third match of the Tata IPL 2022 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings, in which Punjab Kings registered a resounding victory by 5 wickets. It was a very exciting and high-scoring match, in which both the teams scored 200+ runs.
During the match, the Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first. When Royal Challengers Bangalore came out to bat, their start was very good. Royal Challengers Bangalore had given a target of 206 runs to Punjab Kings, in which RCB’s captain Faf du Plessis scored the highest 88 runs.
In retaliation, when Punjab came out to bat, their start was also very good, captain Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan gave a great start to the team, apart from the brilliant innings of Bhanuka Rajapakse and Odean Smith, Punjab Kings chased this huge target by 5 wickets and with 6 balls to spare. For Punjab, Bhanuka Rajapaksa played a brilliant innings of 43 runs in 22 balls.
