KKR’s Sunil Narine wreaked havoc before IPL, taking seven wickets in seven overs without conceding any runs

IPL is going to start from 31st March. Like last time, this year will also see a battle between 10 teams. Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may suffer a major setback even before the start of the season. Team captain Shreyas Iyer was ruled out of the ODI series between India and Australia due to injury.

Now he is in danger of being thrown out of the IPL as well. In such a situation, this time the responsibility of sailing the team will be on some senior players of the team. These include Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Venkatesh Iyer. Narine has also warned the opposition teams from his current form. He has wreaked havoc in domestic cricket matches.

In fact, one of the most successful bowlers in IPL history, Narine has bowled a terrific spell in a match. He bowled seven overs in this match, all of which were maidens, and also took seven wickets. He did this in a domestic cricket tournament played in the West Indies. Narine, playing for Queens Park Cricket Club, bowled fatally against Clarke Road United. Due to this spell of Narine, Clarke Road United got bundled out to 76 runs.

In response to Clarke Road United, the Queens Park team scored 268 runs in their first innings at the loss of three wickets and took a lead of 192 runs. Apart from Sunil Narine’s seven wickets, Shaun Hacklett took two wickets for 18 runs. The 34-year-old Narine has shown that he is ready for the IPL by taking seven wickets in seven overs with seven maidens. He has played 148 matches so far in his IPL career and has taken 152 wickets.
