Dinesh Karthik revealed that Siraj was being dropped from the team, then Kohli helped

Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, may not have been able to get any ICC trophy to Team India. But the example of what he has done in Test matches is still given today and this player who worked to make Test matches great again in India cannot be forgotten. Together with Kohli and Ravi Shastri, he started the work of winning the Test series for the Indian cricket team abroad.

Today, players like Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill, who made their debut under Kohli’s captaincy, are doing a great job. Mohammad Siraj has had a different relationship with Kohli as both have been playing for the same team RCB.

Virat Kohli once used to be a big power in RCB as well as the whole of Indian cricket, whose voice was not possible for everyone to suppress. Kohli’s support to Siraj at such a time proved to be like a lifesaver for this bowler and the way he is performing today shows that Kohli’s faith was justified.

Dinesh Karthik has thrown some more light on the relationship between Kohli and Siraj, he says that Kohli has supported Siraj a lot and after the 2020 pandemic, Siraj was dropped from the team, then Kohli had said- I want him in the playing XI at any cost.

“Then I was a part of the KKR team when RCB bowled us out inside 100 runs in which Siraj took 3 wickets and also became the player of the match. His T20 career took off from there.” Dinesh Karthik said this on Cricbuzz’s special show Rise of India.
