Kohli Overtakes Dhawan in Elite List
Before this match, Shikhar Dhawan held the record for the most runs against CSK, having scored 1,054 runs in 34 matches with 1 century and 8 fifties at an average of 44 and a strike rate of 131.
However, Kohli, playing his 34th match against CSK, has now surpassed Dhawan’s tally, crossing 1,057 runs against the five-time champions. Though he hasn’t scored a century against CSK yet, Kohli has an unbeaten 90 and 9 half-centuries against them, maintaining an average of 37.96 and a strike rate of 125.35.
