Now, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, has shed some light on what he believes is the real reason behind their potential decision to move abroad.
In a video uploaded on YouTube, Dr. Nene explained that Virat and Anushka want to “enjoy their success” and, most importantly, “raise their kids normally” — away from the constant and often overwhelming public attention they face in India.
Recalling a conversation he had with Anushka, Dr. Nene shared, “I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success here. And we appreciate what they go through, because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated.”
He added, “I get along with everyone; I’m bindaas. But even then, it becomes challenging. There’s always a selfie moment. Not in a bad way, but there comes a time when it becomes intrusive — when you’re at dinner or lunch, and you have to be polite about it. For my wife, it becomes an issue. But Anushka and Virat are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally.”
This explanation has resonated with many fans, who recognize the immense pressures public figures face in India’s celebrity-obsessed culture.
Despite the growing chatter, neither Kohli nor Anushka has addressed the rumors directly. However, acquaintances close to the couple have hinted that they may have already shifted base to London along with their two children.
