Former Australian speedster Shaun Tait has thrown his hat in the ring for the vacant Kerala head coach position. The news comes after Tait’s unsuccessful bid for the Punjab head coach role, which was eventually filled by Wasim Jaffer.

Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) is currently in the process of selecting a new coach to lead the team in the upcoming domestic season. With a number of high-profile applicants, including Tait, the KCA has a challenging task ahead.

Tait’s experience as a fast bowler and his coaching stint with the Pakistan cricket team make him a strong contender for the role. If appointed, he could significantly impact Kerala’s fast bowling department.
