The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed heavy fines on several players for disciplinary breaches during international tours, signaling a zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline.
Pakistan’s poor performances in recent tournaments, including their group-stage exit from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, have put the team under immense scrutiny. In response, the PCB has taken stern measures to ensure discipline and professionalism within the squad.

Saim Ayub, Aamir Jamal & Others Penalized by PCB 🏏💰
According to reports, the PCB has collected a whopping 3.3 million rupees in fines from players due to various breaches of discipline between the Multan Test against England and the South Africa series.
Key Players Fined:
🔴 Aamir Jamal – 1.4 million rupees for writing ‘804’ on his cap during a Test match.
🔴 Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique & Salman Ali Agha – 500,000 rupees each for arriving late at the team hotel during the Australia tour.
🔴 Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi & other pacers – $200 each for being two minutes late to the hotel. (These fines were later refunded after Pakistan’s ODI series whitewash against South Africa.)
The PCB’s decision to impose fines is seen as a strong warning to players, emphasizing discipline, time management, and commitment to team ethics.

Pakistan Gears Up for New Zealand Series 🌏🏆
While players face disciplinary measures, they are now gearing up for a high-stakes tour of New Zealand. Pakistan will take on the Kiwis in five T20Is and three ODIs, with the first T20I set to be played at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on March 16.
