Sachin Feels Proud of Arjun’s Journey
In an emotional post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Tendulkar expressed gratitude and pride for his son’s growth, both on and off the field.
“We are lucky to have you as our son. To watch you grow into the amazing human being that you are has been a joy. We are so proud of you. Happy birthday, Arjun!! May God bless you always,” wrote Tendulkar.

Arjun’s Cricketing Career So Far
Arjun Tendulkar, a left-arm medium-pacer and a handy batter, has been making strides in domestic cricket. So far, he has featured in 17 first-class matches, picking up 37 wickets, while in List A cricket, he has bagged 25 wickets in 18 matches.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Arjun has been part of Mumbai Indians (MI) since 2021. Bought at his base price of ₹20 lakh, MI retained him for ₹30 lakh in 2022. He made his IPL debut in 2023, playing four matches and taking three wickets, followed by one appearance in the 2024 season. Working alongside bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Arjun has focused on mastering yorkers — a skill he continues to sharpen.
Engagement to Saaniya Chandhok
Apart from cricket, Arjun has been in the headlines for his personal life. Recently, he got engaged to Saaniya Chandhok, an entrepreneur who runs a pet spa and grooming salon, Mr Paws, in Mumbai. A graduate from the London School of Economics (LSE) in Business Management, she launched her business in 2022, quickly earning recognition in the city.
