Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav achieved a historic milestone in the Champions Trophy 2025 clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, February 23. The 30-year-old became only the fifth Indian spinner to take 300 international wickets, joining the legendary ranks of Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Kuldeep’s Landmark 300th Wicket

Kuldeep’s 300th international wicket came when he dismissed Salman Ali Agha in the 43rd over of Pakistan’s innings. The batter attempted an aerial shot but failed to connect properly, handing an easy catch to Ravindra Jadeja.

The left-arm wrist-spinner now joins an elite club of Indian spinners with 300+ wickets:

Needing 15 runs before the match to reach the milestone, Kohli got there in style with a classic cover drive for four off Haris Rauf. He reached 14,000 runs in just 287 ODI innings, breaking Tendulkar’s record of 350 innings.
