The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has extended Jonathan Trott’s tenure as the head coach of the Afghanistan men’s cricket team until the end of 2025. Trott’s next assignment will be the ODI series against Zimbabwe during Afghanistan’s upcoming multi-format tour. However, for personal reasons, Trott will not oversee the Test and T20 matches on the tour. Hamid Hassan will step in as head coach for these formats, with Nawroz Mangal serving as his assistant.
