The Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) announced a major boost to their Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) campaign with the signings of Indian internationals Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey.
Rodrigues and Pandey join Star-Studded Lineup:
The duo will join forces with Australian legends Meg Lanning and Jess Jonassen, previously announced by TKR. These high-profile additions significantly strengthen the TKR squad, aiming to reclaim the title they won in the inaugural Women’s CPL season in 2022.
WCPL a Perfect Platform for World T20 Preparation:
Expressing her delight, Jemimah Rodrigues highlighted the importance of the WCPL as preparation for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup in October. “This is a great opportunity to get some valuable experience before the World Cup,” she said.

Tournament Dates and Retained Players:
The Women’s CPL 2024 will be played from August 21st to 29th. The TKR squad also retained five of their key Caribbean players from the previous edition.
