The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction is set to take place on November 30th in Dubai, according to reports. This will be the second consecutive year that the auction is held in the UAE.
The auction will see ten franchises compete for the best talent available. Teams are currently finalizing their retentions, with the deadline set for October 31st.

One of the first teams to announce their retentions is the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the runners-up from the previous season. The franchise has retained captain Pat Cummins, wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen, and all-rounder Abhishek Sharma.
Dale Steyn Parts Ways with SRH:
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowling coach for the 2024 season, Dale Steyn, has announced that he will not be returning for the upcoming IPL. However, he will continue to be associated with the franchise as the bowling coach for their SA20 team, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
