Hardik Pandya on the Verge of Breaking Rohit Sharma’s Two Huge Records in IND vs ENG 5th T20I

Hardik Pandya had a stellar performance in the fourth T20I against England at MCA Stadium in Pune. Batting at number seven, he smashed 53 runs off 30 balls, ensuring India posted a competitive total. His all-round contributions have been crucial throughout the series, and he now has a golden opportunity to surpass Rohit Sharma in two elite milestones.

Can Hardik Pandya Overtake Rohit Sharma?

Rohit Sharma, who retired from T20Is after leading India to victory in the T20 World Cup, holds the record for most T20I runs against England by an Indian batter. He has scored 467 runs in 15 innings. Pandya is right behind him with 405 runs in 17 innings at an average of 31.15 and a strike rate of 148.35.

If Pandya scores 63 runs in the final T20I in Mumbai, he will surpass Rohit in this list. Additionally, both players have three half-centuries against England in T20Is. If Pandya scores another fifty, he will set a new record for most T20I fifties by an Indian against England.
