Before the Indian Premier, Chennai Super Kings got a big blow. Ahead of IPL 2023, New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson has been ruled out of the entire tournament due to a back injury.
The 28-year-old bowler was expected to return to New Zealand for the ongoing two-Test series against England after playing the five-day format in June 2022. Kyle Jamieson was the high-profile buy for CSK in the IPL mini-auction.

Jamieson will be ruled out of the second Test against England, which starts on February 24 in Wellington. New Zealand were defeated by England by 267 runs in the first Test played with the pink ball at Mount Maunganui on Sunday.
