BCCI Invites Applications for Spin Bowling Coach at Centre of Excellence

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has opened applications for the position of Spin Bowling Coach at its premier Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru. This role is critical in nurturing India’s spin bowling talent across various levels, including the India Senior Teams (Men & Women), India A, U-23, U-19, U-16, U-15 squads, and players from state associations training at the COE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute specialized training sessions for emerging and elite cricketers.
  • Provide personalized technical coaching for players to refine their skills.
  • Develop and monitor individual performance plans with clear objectives.
  • Collaborate with selectors, national and state coaches, and performance analysts to identify and groom promising spin bowlers.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies, including GPS-enabled devices and biomechanical analysis, to optimize player performance.
  • Assist in injury rehabilitation and ensure players are match-ready.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications:

  1. Former India Cricketer or First-Class Cricketer (minimum 75 matches) with at least 3 years of high-performance coaching experience.
  2. BCCI COE Level 3 Performance Coach (or equivalent) with a proven coaching record at international/domestic levels.
  3. BCCI COE Level 2 Coach (or equivalent) with a track record of developing players in elite environments.
  4. Experience in high-performance planning and monitoring for elite teams or players.
