India vs Pakistan: A Rivalry Like No Other

The Indo-Pak cricket rivalry is one of the most intense and celebrated in world cricket, igniting emotions across both nations. Despite Pakistan’s recent struggles, their clash against India in the group stage remained a highlight, thanks to Virat Kohli’s spectacular century, Shreyas Iyer’s composed half-century, and Kuldeep Yadav’s three-wicket haul.

Breaking Records

JioStar confirmed that the viewership of 17.7 crore surpassed their previous records and became the second-most-watched match in cricket TV history. This feat overtook the previous high set by the India vs Pakistan clash in the 2023 World Cup.

However, JioStar’s report does not account for 50-over World Cup knockout matches, meaning the record still stands for non-knockout games.
