Pandya Brothers Gift Special Bat to Maharashtra Governor During Courtesy Visit

Indian cricket stars Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya made a headline-worthy visit to Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, on Sunday as they met with Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan in a warm and respectful courtesy call. The meeting quickly gained attention after the Governor shared a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter) featuring the star cricketers.
In a gesture of goodwill, the Pandya brothers presented the Governor with a special autographed cricket bat. The signed bat symbolized respect, camaraderie, and their gratitude for the state’s support throughout their cricketing journey. In return, the Governor gifted personalized mementoes to both brothers and also received a custom Team India jersey, creating a moment cherished by cricket and protocol enthusiasts alike.
Governor Radhakrishnan posted,
“Delighted to meet our respected Indian Cricket Team Players Shri. @hardikpandya7 Ji and Shri. @krunalpandya24 Ji today at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on a courtesy meet. My best wishes.”
While the Pandya duo remains away from active national duty, they are utilizing this downtime for physical recovery and spiritual rejuvenation—with sights set on returning to India’s lineup for the Australia series in October 2025.
Krunal & Hardik’s IPL 2025 Season Recap
Krunal Pandya had a memorable season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), playing a vital role in their maiden IPL title win. His match-winning spell of 2/17 in the final against Punjab Kings saw him dismiss both Prabhsimran Singh and Josh Inglis, bagging the Player of the Match award and justifying his ₹5.75 crore auction price.
Hardik Pandya, on the other hand, led Mumbai Indians to the Qualifier 2 stage, an improvement over their 2024 performance. Despite a solid individual run, MI were knocked out by Punjab Kings in the penultimate game. Hardik’s leadership showed maturity, but the elusive second IPL trophy as captain remained out of reach.
Now, both brothers are making the most of their off-field time—Hardik enjoying fatherhood and fitness, while Krunal prepares for international redemption, as India looks ahead to the high-octane Australia series starting October 19.
This warm meeting with the Governor not only displayed their public persona off the field but also underlined the continuing legacy of the Pandya brothers as role models in Indian cricket.
