A delegation from New Zealand Cricket (NZC) visited Karachi’s National Stadium on Thursday to evaluate preparations for the upcoming ODI tri-series scheduled for February 2025.
The delegation, including New Zealand Players’ Association representative Brad Rodden and security consultant Reg Dickason, was received by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla and General Manager Arshad Khan.

Stadium Renovation Under Review
The delegation also assessed the ongoing renovation of the National Stadium, part of Pakistan’s preparations for hosting the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy in 2025. The inspection is a continuation of NZC’s review process, with previous visits to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
ODI Tri-Series Details
The ODI tri-series will feature Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa in Multan from February 8 to 14, 2025. This series will serve as a vital warm-up for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, set to run from February 19 to March 9.
