Tournament Format and Teams
The participating teams are divided into four competitive groups, each consisting of six teams. Group A includes Afghan Tigers, KRM Panthers, Lexus, Osmani CC, MG Warriors, and Seazen Challengers. Meanwhile, Group B features Renegades, Kuwait Nationals, SBS CC, Friends XI, IB Cricket Club, and Rayan XI.
In Group C, cricket fans can look forward to witnessing the skills of CECC-B, GAT, Jeleeb Knight Riders, Kuwait Under-19, Stack CC XI, and Toyota TGS. Group D comprises Al Mulla Exchange-B, Al Sayer, Cochin Hurricanes, MEC Study Group, Noor CM Academy, and Super XI Strikers.
Tournament Structure
The teams will engage in a round-robin format within their respective groups, playing against each other once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, where the intensity of the competition is expected to rise. The victorious teams from the quarter-finals will proceed to the semi-finals, setting the stage for the grand finale on March 14.
Venue and Previous Champions
All the high-octane matches of the KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 will unfold at the Sulabiya Cricket Ground in Al Jahra, Kuwait City. This venue is set to witness fierce battles, strategic plays, and cricketing brilliance as the teams vie for supremacy.
In the previous edition of the tournament, Noor CM Academy emerged victorious, clinching the title after a nail-biting Super Over against SBS CC in the 2023 final.
