One day, you will reach the peak of your career. Sir, I have a request. If you can help me financially, Allah will bless you more, Inshallah,” read the April 5 message, according to NDTV sources.
However, the tone of communication shifted drastically over time. By April 9, Naveed reportedly demanded ₹5 crores from Rinku, claiming that he would “arrange the time and place” to finalize the transaction. When no response was received, Naveed escalated the matter further.
“Reminder! D-Company,” the sender wrote on April 20, signaling the involvement of a criminal organization in the threat.
